Zero energetic cost

According to the German Institute Fraunhofer, zero energy houses are defined as those constructions that consume the same energy that they generate, presenting/displaying a balance of global energy inferior to 15KW/m ² year. This supposes a cost of approximately 17€/month (calculated in August of 2008, with a price of 0,168€/KW) to the proprietor of a house.

The I.C.S. System of construction obtains zero energetic cost due to, among other characteristics, the reliability of the incorporation of all types of renewable energies, including the geothermal, and due to the Breakage of the Thermal Bridge in all the walls of the house.

With the I.C.S system, the complete rupture of the thermal bridge in all the external surface of the facades is obtained easily, including the hollows of the windows or doors. In traditional construction it is very difficult and expensive due to the essential use of conductive structural elements (beams, pillars…)
Using the complete rupture of thermal bridge and renewable energies like geothermal or others, it is easy to obtain a building of zero energy.
